Shahar Peer poor run of form continued as she crashed out of Wimbledon at the first hurdle in the Ladies singles competition at Wimbledon.

In a match held over from Tuesday, Peer was beaten in convincing fashion by Germany's Julia Goerges in a match lasting just 55 minutes.

The Israeli made a catalogue of unforced errors and served three doubles faults as she tumbled out 6-2, 6-2.

Full review and reaction in Friday's JC.
