Zuriel Solomon, the Faithfold A manager, believes that the signing of former Maccabi League Player of the Year Mike Pearson will boost the team's challenge for silverware.
The Superhoops beat several other Premier Division rivals to the star striker who fired a debut goal in the 2-1 win over North West Neasden B. David Lederman claimed the other.
Solomon said: "Pearson was a real handful and gives us a different dimension. He looked great in green and white."
Danny Daggers pulled one back for Neasden but Faithfold held firm to climb to third in the table.
Solomon said: "I felt that we dominated most of the game and chances. Both goalkeepers played very well. David Lederman and Rocky Sptizer were brilliant."
Leaders Hendon United Sports Club A maintained their three-point advantage with a hard-earned 2-1 win over North London Raiders A. Strikes from Ben Kon and Josh Bentley made it seven wins out of nine. Mark Leader had levelled for Raiders from the penalty spot.
London Maccabi Lions A crushed North West Neasden A 5-0 with goals from Lee Bibring (2), Jordan Marks, James Stanley and Ben Joseph.
Lions manager Eilon Kennet said: "With almost a full squad to choose from, it's no coincidence that this was probably our best performance this season."
Jamie Cole, the Neasden boss, commented: "Nothing went for us in the second half and it was a poor display."
Daran Bern, Sam McCarthy and Craig Sanford steered second-placed Redbridge Jewish Care A past Southgate Harmen A.
North London Raiders B won match of the day in Division One, beating FC Team A 2-1. David Dinkin and Rick Sherman were the marksmen. Ollie Segal replied.
A hat-trick from Glenn Michaels set up Chigwell Athletic's 5-0 victory over Montana Boca United A. Dan Castle chipped in with two more. Manager Richard Slater said: "We wanted it more and owed them a beating."
Brady Maccabi climbed up to second after thumping Lions C 6-2. Steve Field (2), Josh Hershman (2), Ben Gershuny and Darren Stern eased them home. The Lions goals came through Shai Davidi and Ilan Ben Zion.
Faithfold B upset Division Two leaders Norstar A with Seth Green, Daniel Hildebrand 2, Joe Levi contributing to a 4-2 victory. Simon Perlmutter and Eli Houri replied.
Phil Peters, the Norstar manager, said: "Faithfold clearly wanted it more than us. If they can get that team out each week then they'll certainly be up there come the end of the season and will hopefully take some points of the other teams fighting for the title."
Temple Fortune A kept up their title challenge with a 6-2 win at struggling FC Team B. Dan Natoff (2), Daniel Woolfe (2), Richard Cooper and Rob Benson did the damage with Eddie Sternberg and Dave Silver on target for FC Team.
Player-manager Alex Aviram and Darryl Green helped Woodford Wanderers get back to winning ways as they proved too strong for Hendon United Sports Club B.
New signing Jonny Blain came off the bench to fire a debut hat-trick as Faithfold C went top of Division Three with a 10-4 demolition of Real Life. Simon Beresford (4), Josh Sugarbread and Ben Simons completed the rout.
Norstar B also hit double figures with Josh Gaon, Adam Lipman (2), Adam Sandzer, Rafi Addlestone, Josh Green (2), Nick Benson and Jonny Kay making it a nightmare morning for Catford & Bromley Maccabi.
Dan Gordon fired a four-goal salvo as Redbridge C crushed fellow high-flyers Heath Banta 7-3. James Ryan, Lee Ballen and Marc Silver finished the job. Banta's goals came through Stefan Simons (2) and Dan Sinai.
Ben Sokel and Tony Plaskow set up UJIA's 2-1 win over Zig Zag.
Glenthorne B remain top of Division Four on goal difference after making easy work of in-form Shirley Park. Dan Lassman (2), Jordan Sapler, supersub Dan Jackson, Jamie Crawford and an own goal wrapped up a 6-2 victory. Shirley's goals came through Gideon Gold and top-scorer Jason Lindsay.
Blizzard Storm kept up their title challenge with brothers Alex Stolerman (3) and Joe Stolerman sharing five between them in an 8-1 routing of Athletic Bilbaum. Michael Woolf, Ryan Colet and Joel Kutner also found the net.
Los Blancos registered their seventh league win with man-of-the-match Adam Hersh (2), Ariel Weinstein and Dany Kon helping them past Temple Fortune B.
Neasden C completed a league double over Jewventus with Richard Braham (2) and player-manager Louis Taylor on target in a 3-1 win. Oliver Weingarten was the scorer for Jewventus.
Adam Lenz (2), Jerome Colmans and Scott Ackerman steered Inter Borehamwood to a 4-2 victory over North London Raiders C for whom Matt Green and Ben Hart netted.
Benny Goldberg (3), Moishe Noe (2), Zvi Noe, Mikey Mendelsohn, Avi Gelley and Benjy Israel struck gold in Hendon C's 9-1 mauling of struggling Pinner JFC
