Omri Casspi's six-year stay in the NBA looks set to end.
Casspi, 26, has left the Houston Rockets for the New Orleans Pelicans in a complicated three-way trade that also involved the Washington Wizards and five other players.
Reports from America claim that New Orleans will waive Casspi's contract leaving him a free agent and unless he receives another NBA offer, a return to Maccabi Tel Aviv looks imminent.
He started last year strongly in Houston, but his form faded and he finished the season with an average of 6.9 points.
