The London Olympics will be with us before you can say Usain Bolt, and it's no surprise to see that Maccabi GB have come up trumps again.
The UK's leading Jewish sports charity has been given exclusive access to offer the community the chance to be among the first 'athletes' worldwide to test out the new Olympic running track.
The 2012 Gold Challenge will be the first licensed event in the stadium in Stratford on April 1. As one of the official London Games' legacy projects, the Challenge has more than 150 charity partners, Team GB legends and celebrity ambassadors who will congregate at the Olympic stadium event to recognise the achievements that members of the public have accomplished through their participation in sport. It promises to be a great event.
The scheme will look to inspire people of all ages and physical abilities to play sport, while raising money for charity.
MGB have two lanes in the 100m race and the winners of an auction, with a starting bid of £2,500 per ticket, will be cheered on by friends and family in front of a crowd of 20,000.

● Ahead of the Paralympics, MGB are also hosting a disability taster sports day at JCoSS in New Barnet on Sunday.
The event will feature three sports - boccia, goalball and sitting volleyball. Seventy participants are expected.
● It's the last round of matches before the traditional two-week winter break begins in the JC MSFL. All but one of the 49 teams have registered a point this season, with Team JLGB hoping to break their duck against Blizzard Storm on Sunday.
Victims of a 9-0 drubbing at the hands of Division Three leaders Glenthorne United B last weekend, they made a big impression on Thornes player-manager Craig Sandford. He said: "Credit goes to JLGB who ran until the end. They have a never-say-die attitude and I hope they get some results soon."
● At the midway point, Haroldeans look odds-on favourites to win the MJSL, which is in its 63rd season. They finish the year with an easy looking match at home to struggling Crumpsall. Victory would take them nine points clear and I can't see anyone catching them from there.
● SPEC FC's Ricky Lawrence wins my award for quote of the week. Ridiculing teammate Marc Hecht after a Ronnie Rosenthal moment, Lawrence said: "It was harder to miss."
