Jason Stein conceded that Oakwood B were fortunate to come away from Rowley Lane with a point following a titanic tussle against fellow high-flyers Brady Maccabi.
Oakwood fans were treated to a collectors item when centre half Dan King fired home a free-kick from quite some distance to give Oakwood B the 1-0 lead at half time before Brady levelled things in the second half in a very good game of football.
Oakwood boss Jason Stein told JC Sport: "Today was a really good game between two determined sides.
"I'm big enough to admit we are perhaps a tad fortunate to come away with a point given Brady had plenty of second half opportunities.
"But throughout we were disciplined, organised and committed enough to get the job done. A defence led by Dan King and Ben Polak did a great job. Rowley Lane is an intimidating ground to go to - the locals don't wait for Purim to make a racket - and I'm pleased to come away with a point.
"I thought both sides were happy to take the draw in the end and from my point of view I'm delighted with the start we have made. Unbeaten through five games is not to be sniffed at. The league is taking shape nicely and it's clear Brady will be up there at the end of the season.
"It's always testing to come up against a side with a Northerner of their own and it's a reminder that there are a few talented lads down here not signed with the Oaks. And after watching him play today I can tell you Joey Lazare is welcome to join his compatriots whenever he likes."
