Oakwood manager Jason Stein told JC Sport: "I'm absolutely delighted to win 8-1, obviously. But I'm more pleased with the attitude of the players than anything. We hadn't played for a month and we had a depleted squad with only 11 players available.
"But the boys - more or less the core of our squad anyway - turned up and did a very professional job on Temple Fortune.
"We've laid down a massive marker in the group and we're in a good position. Win next week against Hendon United B and we're through to a quarter-final tie.
"We've done half the job today and we will aim to finish it next week when we have even more choice in the squad.
"We cannot let this slip."
