NWN opened their account for the season with a deserved hard fought 2-1 victories over a competitive and spirited Brixton side at Brickfield Lane.

With an intense pace set from the start, it was very nip and tuck in the opening exchanges and Brixton took the lead with their first shot of note through a 35-yard wonder strike from David Ronson who capped an impressive debut in central midfield.

This seemed to rally Neasden who took control for long periods of the game thereafter and deservedly equalised after a nice move involving Shai Davidi and Daniel Orgel before Kane Gilbery unselfishly laid it on a plate for Michael Field to open his account for the season.
