Stirling Kay believes North West Neasden can use the 4-0 victory over Maccabi London Lions as the catalyst to kick-start their season.
Plagued by a series of injuries to key players and inconsistent availability, Neasden climbed off the foot of the Premier Division table courtesy of a double from Michael Field plus one apiece from Danny Sherman and Adam Arnold.
Kay commented: "We had so many players out, but we really rolled up our sleeves and put in a great team performance to earn three valuable points."
Oli Henry helped Blizzard Storm return to winning ways at the expense of SPEC FC in Division One.

FC Team C climbed above FC Team B after completing a league double in Division Two. Having beaten them 3-2 at the start of the month, strikes from Dan Stanton (2), Aron Barnes, Dan Alfreds and top-scorer Adam Stolerman sealed a 6-5 win. Danny Moss, Richard Salmon, Dan Silverman and Adam Rones were among the scorers for the B's who were denied a share of the spoils when Matt Davis kept out a penalty from Jon Breger.
FC Team C manager David Gordon said: "We now have some room for error, but the aim is to just continue our great league form and see where we end up."
High-flying AC Mill Hill were edged out by a single goal as Norstar London Raiders C registered their first victory thanks to a goal from Jarred Rudman.
