London Lions Under 18s have won the Watford Friendly League Blue division.
The Lions played with style and commitment throughout the season and finished with the best defensive record in the division. Coached by Tunji Banjo, the ex-Nigeria and Orient player, they were also second highest scorers.
Across 18 league games, the team claimed 11 victories, three draws and four defeats, finishing on 36 points.
Manager Simon Zender said: “The majority of the squad, having been together for several years, have really gelled this season and have played one and two-touch football on the ground and with pace.”
