Immanuel’s Year 9 team conceded just one goal in four matches

Immanuel College teams in Year 7, 8 and 9 enjoyed a clean sweep at the Maccabi GB Jewish Schools' Netball Tournament.

In a competition that also featured Hasmonean, Yavneh and host school JFS, the Year 7 team, captained by Sabrina Miller, beat Hasmonean 7-0, JFS (A) 3-0, JFS (B) 4-1 and Yavneh 4-0. Natasha Fisch was named player of the match.

The Year 8 team, captained by Danielle Abkin, beat Hasmonean 7-0, Yavneh (A) 2-0, Yavneh (B) 7-1, JFS (A) 6-0 and JFS (B) 2-2 with the top player accolade going to Sophie Cohen.

Elianne Mahay-Goodrich was named top player in the Year 9 event. Captained by Nicole Maltz, Immanuel beat Hasmonean 3-1, JFS (A) 4-0, JFS (B) 6-0 and Yavneh 5-0.
