Having suffered six consecutive league defeats in the first half of the season, the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle finally came together for Brady who ran out deserved winners. They controlled the game from the first minute and hit the post and crossbar three times in the first half, as well as having a couple of chances cleared off the line and manager Joel Nathan "thought our luck this season wasn’t going to change as we ended the half all square".
But it did in the second half when after 20 minutes skipper Cohen finished off a flowing move with a neatly taken shot from just inside the box
To their credit, Faithfold dug in and tried to come at Brady but never really put their goal under pressure and the home goalkeeper didn’t have one real save to make.
Brady sealed the points with 10 minutes left when another great move saw Rister latch on to a great through ball and exquisitely lobbed the keeper from the edge of the box.
Jubilant Brady boss Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "It was great to have 16 guys all chomping at the bit today to play and we made sure changes were made to keep our momentum going when a couple of the boys looked tired.
"We have three hard games coming up and hopefully this will give us the confidence to match on a have a great second half to the season."
Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz reflected on "another bad day at the office" following the Superhoops' sixth league defeat..
"We have been on a run of really poor results and are finding it very difficult to stop the rot," he told JC Sport.
"We found it really difficult to play on such a poor grass pitch and for a team that likes to play nice passing football it really hinders us. We need to learn to sometimes get the ball forward and be more direct when playing on a poorer surface.
"Hopefully next week we can turn things around."
