Maccabi Manchester 2nds chief Irving Modlin said: "We had to work hard in pretty poor conditions to earn this win.
"The wind played havoc at times, but we held our nerve when it mattered to see the job through.
"We did not panic when we fell behind and we fully warranted this victory."
Haroldeans boss Fraser Saville was disappointed to have left empty-handed.
He said: "It was a close game and we pushed a good side all the way.
"They told us we were the best team they have played so that is a big compliment and proves we are heading in the right direction."
