Josh Newman won gold and silver at the National Trampolining Gala in Hull.
Competing in his first national event of the season, Newman, from Billericay, won by a comfortable margin in the individual event to confirm his place in the national finals in July.
He concluded a successful competition by claiming second place in the synchro event. Newman said: “It’s really hard work and I’m pushing myself to the limit. Hopefully I can do some great things this year.”
Newman’s latest success follows his victories at the Australian Youth Olympics and National Schools Trampolining Championships in Cannock.
His next event comes at the Cardiff National Gala later this month.
