Haroldeans look set for a weekend of celebrations after moving to within a point of the MJSL title following a 2-2 draw with Hyde Park Rovers.

The Merseysiders were forced to come from behind as Bobby Abrams scored against his former club in the last minute to secure a draw and deny Rovers a hard-fought victory.

Ivan Gee's men have 46 points from their 18 games and are nine points clear of rivals Oakhill, who would have to win all three games and hope the Merseysiders lose their next two fixtures.

With Haroldeans also enjoying a huge goal difference advantage, the Liverpool-based side will be hot favourites to confirm their crown against Crumpsall this weekend.
