JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
- ANDREI GRAYSON (Blizzard Storm) - scored "the goal of the season" - 30 yards out into the top corner
- DAN GORDON (Faithfold C) - 30-yard free-kick. A Ronaldo-esque run up, with the the ball looping over the wall and swerving in past the keeper
- AVI MOCTON (Hendon Utd SC B) - curled a delicious curling shot high into the net
- JONO NESBITT (Hendon Utd SC B) - added to his season's tally with another cracking finish which was remarkably similar to Mocton's
- ROB BENSON (Temple Fortune) - struck an impressive free kick into the corner of the net from just outside the box
- MARK SMITH (L'Equipe) - picked the ball up at the in the centre circle, picked his head up to see no one free so harboured his inner Lionel Messi, took it round one man, nutmegged a second, put a third on his back and he still wasn’t in the box and the ball had not been more than a millimetre away from his foot. A shot was definitely on now but Mark was not done. He took it past their centre half, cut back to embarrass the other centre half, dodged an attempt to hack him down in the box before one final dummy/cut-back/ Cruyff-turn and then slotted the ball past the keeper
- KANE GILBERY (FC Team A) - to bring the game against Hendon to 2-2, Kane picked the ball up behind the half-way line and drove towards goal, taking it past three players and rocketing it into the top left hand corner
- BAR HARIELY (FC Team A) - to bring it to 3-3 with two minutes on the clock, after a corner and bit of a scramble, it fell to Bar with his back to goal, who span and with a scissor-kick put it in the top left-hand corner, unstoppable and unbelievable tekkers!

YOUR WEEKEND REVIEW STARTS HERE:
SUNDAY CHALLENGE CUP ROUND ONE
RAIDERS TRIP UP
NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A 2 TRIPIMENI OLYMPIA 3
MGBSFL champions Raiders bowed out of the Sunday Challenge Cup at the first attempt against a "very good" Tripimeni side at Brunel. Jonny Kay and Ben Rosenblatt registered for Raiders.
Raiders boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "We are disappointed to go out of the competition at the first round, but having been pitted against last year’s finalists and then turning up with just 11 men we knew it was going to be a really difficult task.
"Unfortunately we gave our opposition too much respect in the first half and gifted them some soft goals which resulted in us being 3-1 down at half time. In the second half we completely outplayed our opposition and we were very unlucky not to draw level when Dinkin just couldn’t stretch enough to tap home a 90th minute equaliser. It would have been much deserved after a really superb second half showing.
"This cup always provides a stern test, the opposition are decent sides with many of the players playing to a high Saturday level too so we can be very pleased with our morning’s work."

THREE CHEERS FOR BLIZZARD

A brilliant brace from Josh Bharier and a wonder strike from Andrei Grayson ensured Blizzard Storm secured their second win over the season after easing past Faithfold at the Hive.
Jubiliant Blizzard boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a very important three points. Faithfold deserved more from the game - they had a lot of chances but didn't defend well. As a group we showed we wanted it more. It was a big win and hopefully we can kick on from here."

FC Team boss Ben Gilbey told JC Sport: "It was a great result on the weekend and now from here we look to push on. We know we have the talent to beat any team in this league and now we have to prove this!"
Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport; "It was a really disappointing drop of points but is probably testament to the fact that for the first time in a number of years we aren’t playing with our usual confidence and belief and we are making very elementary mistakes which seem to be always leading to goals."
DC Prediction: Hendon 2 Team 1

REDBRIDGE STILL TOP DOGS
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 3 HARMEN 3
Redbridge remain top on goal difference from Camden Park but they were unable to come away with maximum points following a thriller against Harmen at Fairlop.
Bradley Sharp, Dominique Cheniart and James Gershfield were the marksmen for Harmen who battled back from two goals down to earn a draw. Sam Sollosi, Steven Summers and Daniel Garfinkle registered for Redbridge.
Harmen joint-manager Joel Alterman told JC Sport: "The new Harmen make it very uncomfortable for the opposition to get into a rhythm and we will see how far we can go."
RJC secretary Richard Bronzite told JC Sport: "Whilst the draw was definitely a fair result, the way Harmen got the draw was anything but fair."
DC Prediction: Redbridge 2 Harmen 1

OAKWOOD B A FAITHFOLD B A
Match abandoned after 51 minutes after Faithfold striker Ben Zloof suffered a broken leg, with Oakwood 1-0 up via James Abrams.
Oakwood boss Jason Stein told JC Sport: "I feel very sorry for Ben Zloof who I rate hugely as a player and I know he's a top lad as well.
"The Faithfold team showed great dignity in the way they dealt with the injury in the aftermath of the abandonment and they were a credit to their teammate.
"Obviously the football plays second fiddle when the game ends like that and I imagine the league will arrange a replay.
"The game was played in good spirits between two competitive sides and it's obviously a horrible incident for all.
"Everyone at Oakwood would like to wish Ben a speed recovery."

Star man Ed Brafman, Josh Bloom and Daniel Mattey were the goal men for the visitors.
MLL joint-manager Samuel Marchant told JC Sport: "There were plenty of positives for us today and we need to continue building and playing our brand of football with our philosophy if we are to continue winning games in our league, and with four wins from four in the league, the team is in a great situation."
