The only way is up for Temple Fortune in season 2014/15. Here chairman Nigel Kyte reveals the club's plans for the forthcoming campaign.
Hopes for the season?
We succeeded in getting 'back on track' last season following the disciplinary problems caused by several undesirables during season 2012/13. But all the same we were very disappointed to finish bottom of Division Three which was not expected. So obviously we are looking for improvement (which shouldn't be too difficult!) We're not a club to blow our own trumpet and predict extravagant things, so the objective is to enjoy a much better campaign. If we can challenge towards the upper half of the table then that will be a bonus!
Which players would you describe as the 'ones to watch' and why?
Newcomer Anthony Shaw looks a very accomplished midfielder of the new players we have signed and will certainly strengthen us in the middle of the park. If last season's top scorer Zack Rich can build up a powerful partnership with the evergreen Laurence Swerner – one of the most experienced players in the division – then hopefully we should be scoring more goals. If Michael Goldberg can pay his fines then he will be a great addition since he can be real quality on his day! We have the makings of a much more competitive team – whether that will contribute to a better season we will see!
Which team/s do you consider your strongest challengers?
Not wishing to put pressure on them, but Real Sosobad are anything but that, since they're filled with experienced ex-Glenthorne players. They should win the division comfortably! KS Reunited looked quite useful judging by a recent pre-season we played against them, whilst both Faithfold and Hendon probably have a few ex-B teamers onboard so they should be strengthened. Who knows what kind of team London Maccabi will put out – usually they have very good players. And I'm sure there are other decent teams so it's going to be a tough division. I think that already pushes Temple Fortune down to sixth or seventh lol!
Captain: Not sure at present but the highly experienced ex-Brady 'hard man' David Sawyer took the arm-band recently so it might be him! What a tough cookie!

What will your team bring to the league this season?
The generally traditional TFFC organisation and friendliness... our MGBSFL team are a nice bunch of lads, a mixture of youth and experience who will be a pleasure to play against!
