Goals are guaranteed at L'Orange this season after NLR boss Jonathan Adelman freshened up his squad with former Bilbaum goal machine Jake Gilbert and the returning Jacob Gold.

COMPETITIONS ENTERED: Division One, Morrison and Anekstein

HOPES FOR THE SEASON: We've been able to keep the core of our Division Two title-winning side together, but I felt we needed a number of additions to the squad to ensure we can be competitive in Division One.

Last summer an injury to Jonny Blain meant Nicky Woolf was our only recognised striker for most of the season, had he also picked up a knock we could have struggled. We couldn't risk a similar situation this season and with our 3 new "J" men Josh, Jake and Jacob alongside Nicky we should pack some serious firepower. At the back Grossy and Lewis' experience should help us step up a level in what I'm sure is going to be an exceptionally competitive division.

PLAYERS IN: David Grossman, Josh Green, Lewis Blitz, Jake Gilbert and Jacob Gold

David Grossman and Josh Green join the squad having been part of the A's last season. We also welcome back the versatile Lewis Blitz after his year-long loan to Lions, whilst we have bolstered our attacking options with Jake Gilbert joining from Athletic Bilbaum and the return to the Club of Jacob Gold from his trophy laden spell at Hendon A.

PLAYER OUT: Jonny Blain

MAIN RIVALS: In my opinion Blizzard Storm - complete with Raiders old boys Oli Henry and Ben Ellis - are the overwhelming favourites for the title after Simon splashed serious transfer cash in the window, but none of the teams looks weak so the gap between the promotion places and the bottom two may well come down to a matter of a few points and fine margins. We can't wait for the season to get started.
