Having finished the last campaign superbly, FC Team C will look to carry their momentum into the new season
Competitions entered: MGBSFL Division Two, Morrison and Anekstein
Hopes for the season: The league is looking pretty strong this year so we want to make sure that we compete and do ourselves proud. If we can build on last year’s fourth place finish then that would be a bonus
Players in: Five
Players out: Most have stayed on, with only Paul Savitz leaving to play the twilight of his career down under in the Jewish A-League
Ones to watch: Mitch Lassman only played half of last season due to injury, but still managed to make double figures. If he stays fit for the season then he will make a big impact. Blake Buckman also returns to the team after injury, and defenders won’t like playing against his pace
Main rivals: FC Team B as all of their players were playing in the Premier League last year. I expect them to win the league
Captain: Mitch Lassman
What will your team bring to the league this season?
Most of the boys played together last season and we did brilliantly to finish fourth considering we were bottom at the start of the year. We have brought in five experienced, but highly talented, new players who have so far integrated well and will improve the side. I think we will bring excitement in attack and maybe surprise a few people
