Entertainment will be the name of the game at FC Team A, according to head coach Ben Gilbey.
COMPETITIONS ENTERED: Premier Division, Morrison, Anekstein
HOPES FOR THE SEASON: to maintain a solid league position and to have a good cup run. Wingate & Finchley Stadium is calling for FC Team A!
PLAYERS IN: The first big signing we have made is Yoav Lebens from Hendon A. Yoav is a great player and was pivotal to all Hendon's success last year. He is a well-known force in the MSFL and I have high hopes of him coming into the team and helping to drive us forward.
The other new signing, who we are all excited about, is Alon Hershkorn, otherwise known as the 'Goal Machine' after being in the top three scorers each season that passes no matter what team he has been playing for. We hope he has now found his home at FC Team A.
PLAYERS OUT: No players have left since the end of last season. We did lose James Joseph towards the end of last season unfortunately, but we have strengthened.
ONES TO WATCH: I would be advising everyone to keep a close eye on the JFS wonderkids, Adam Aminoff and David Joseph Cohen. With Aminoff's masterful footballing brain and quick feet, Dave's skill and pace, the defences of the Premier Division will be having sleepless nights this year.
CAPTAIN: Jamie Breslaw is our captain. He lives, breathes, eats and drinks FC Team.
WHAT WILL YOUR TEAM BRING TO THE LEAGUE THIS SEASON? One thing our Team has always done in the past is manage to play quick, exciting and attractive football, which I believe is good for the MSFL - you could call us a proper footballing team. We have also never been short on the goals front, with quality strikers such as David Joseph Cohen, David James Cohen, Jez Julius, Alon Hershkorn and Shim Bensoor. You can look forward to FC Team A bringing excitement to the league this year and plenty of goals!
