Raiders made it 24 points out of 24 as goals from Ben Ellis and Jordan Marks sealed win number eight against Lions at Brunel.

In the first half Lions pressed and harried and worked very hard to close down any space. However they could do nothing with the opener, a goal which won't be bettered this season in the league. Jordan Marks took down a difficult ball with his chest on the left flank, he then pushed the ball past his marker before delivering a lofted cross to the edge of the box where Ellis swivelled and volleyed low into the bottom corner. A super opener which left all in attendance applauding in admiration.

Marks, Rhodes and Kay all had chances to extend the lead but in truth Lions work-rate meant 1-0 was probably a fair reflection at half-time.
