Two goals from Matt Lubel gave Pinner JFC Under 16s a 2-1 win over St. Albans Rangers in the Watford Friendly League Yellow Division.
Pinner forged ahead after 20 minutes when Toby Leaman’s free-kick hit the bar, allowing Lubel to tuck home the rebound.
St. Albans equalised on the stroke of half time but Pinner were not to be outdone and Lubel produced an excellent finish from a Ryan Taylor through ball.
Pinner held firm in the closing stages with keeper Jack Shulman pulling off several fine saves.
