A Matt Stock double and one from Daniel Levenfiche gave London Lions a 3-1 win over Hertford Heath to send them clear at the top of the Herts Senior County League Premier Division.

Stock opened the scoring after 16 seconds as Lions made it 16 from 18 points. He added the second with a neat finish from an Adam Stolerman assist.

Hertford pulled one back but Daniel Levenfiche clinched the points with a tap-in 15 minutes from time.

Lions coach Darren Yarlett said: “We need to find a better consistency in games in terms of performance but having said that, we are still winning matches which is the sign of a good side.”

Lions: Davis, Cole, Myeroff, Glass, B. Lauffer, Stanton, Newman, Lampert (sub: Gold), Levenfiche (sub: Andy Glynne), Stock, Stolerman

Lions reserves recorded their first victory of the campaign, beating Hertford Heath reserves 5-2 in the HSCL Reserve Division One. Dan Green and Ori Kobi finished the job.
