Tony Gellman's Manchester Maccabi 1st continue to set the pace the Accountants League Premier Division.
Gellman’s men swept past Saints 3-1 thanks to goals from Mark Maynard, Adam Stevens and Adam Jackson.
They now hold a six-point advantage at the summit but Gellman is refusing to get carried away with their lofty position.
He said: "It’s been a good start and probably better than we expected. But you can’t get giddy. We are taking it game by game and we know we face a real fight if we want to win honours.
"The boys have given their all and our workrate is warring down the opposition. We then show some quality that is bringing us the goals."
Manchester Maccabi 1st take a break from league action when they face Old Ball in the County Cup on Sunday.
Gellman added: "We want to win every game we play. But we know that this will be a very difficult test for us."
Elsewhere, AFC Flixton lost ground and their 100 per cent record after falling to a shock 2-1 defeat against Lawds. South Manchester edged out Mace 1-0 to remain in fourth spot.
Meanwhile in Division One, Manchester Maccabi 2nds stunned high-flying Deloitte 4-1. Joe Lewis, Daniel Rubenstein, Olly Abrahamson and Jordan Kay were on target.
