Maccabi Tel Aviv became the first Israeli team to win the domestic treble following a 6-2 Israel FA Cup final success over Hapoel Beer Sheva.

Having already clinched the Ligat Ha'Al and the Toto Cup, Maccabi cruised to victory in front of 30,000 fans at the recently opened Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa.

Rade Prica fired a hat-trick and strikes from Yoav Ziv, Maharan Radi and Eran Zahavi completed the rout in what was the highest-scoring ever Israeli cup final.

"This was the best game of my career," said Prica. "To score a hat-trick in a cup final is a dream come true. Together with the fans, we have made history."
