Southgate & Belmont & Edgware 2nd played out a draw in the Maccabi Sunday League. Needing two to win off the last ball, Southgate’s sixth wicket pair scampered a single to leave the sides level on 215. Clive Hart (75) and Ashley Smokler (69) were the star men of the Southgate innings. Stephen Altmann-Richer (45), Warren Averbuch (37) and Harvey Samuels (37) impressed for BECC.

MAL suffered a 166-run defeat at against Stanmore (312-4). Mark Landau picked up two wickets but Stanmore’s middle order took the game away comprehensively. Landau raced to 36 from 21 balls but MAL collapsed to 77-4. Grant Traub put on 48 with Adam Katten but MAL were dismissed for 146.

London Maccabi Vale 2nd beat Pymmes (121) by nine wickets. Simeon Cohen (3-14), David Freeman (65 not out) and Jeremy Harris saw LMV home.
