North London Raiders strengthened their position at the top of Maccabi Masters Division One with a 2‐0 win over Scrabble, inspired by goals from Darren Cohen
and Wayne Davidson.
A first-half hat‐trick from Brady A’s Nick Collins couldn’t ensure a win for last year’s champions, as they had to settle for a 3-3 draw against Glenthorne A, for whom Paul Lenchner (2) and an own goal earned a point.
In Division Two, leaders EDRS suffered a shock 3‐1 defeat at the hands of Hendon Harriers, for whom Paul Herszaft scored a hat‐trick. Martin Seifert replied for EDRS.
Goals from Marc Morris, David Pollock and Mark Rose gave Lions a 3‐1 win over Ashlodge CPC, with Brian Deal notching their consolation.
And in the Glenthorne derby, the B team beat the C’s 9‐0, with goals from Greg Morris (4), Gary Adams (2), Sid Shaw (2) and Ray Russell.
