A late strike from Danny Schindler earned Maccabi London Lions B a crucial victory over Division Two leaders St. John's Wood Tigers in the Maccabi Masters Football League.

The top two seemed to be heading for a goalless draw until Schindler converted Arthur Duke’s pinpoint cross with just five minutes remaining, leaving Tigers’ manager John Perloff feeling ‘devastated’.

Marshside came from behind to beat Glenthorne 3-2 with goals from Martin Leslie, Sacha Alter and a late volley from Fara Moghim.

Temple Fortune recovered from 2-0 down to beat Hendon Harriers 6-4 with goals from Robert Botkai (2), Joel Davis, Jeremy Fess, Leon Wise and Graham Mayer.
