A hat-trick from Danny Sugarman sent Glenthorne United A top of Maccabi Masters League Division One with a 6‐0 demolition of Southgate Harmen.
Further strikes from Jamie Chapman, Hadley Silver and Jamie Cooper completed the rout.
Meanwhile, the chinks in the previously invincible Brady Maccabi A armour continue to surface as they once again dropped points from a winning position.
Nick Collins (2) and Dan Reuben had put Brady 3‐1 ahead with just 10 minutes remaining, but South Mancs hit back with two late goals to share the spoils, and secure their first point of the season.
Ben Kent (2) and Simon Davidson scored for Mancs.
In Division Two, Glenthorne B moved to the top of the table with a 5‐2 victory over the previously unbeaten St John’s Wood Tigers, thanks to goals from Sid Shaw (2), Jason Levy, Paul van Gelder
and Greg Morris. David Hyman and Ilan Cohen scored for Tigers.
Glenthorne C made it a hat‐trick of wins for the Glenthorne stable as they thumped Brady B
6‐2 with goals from Adam Lennard (3), Dave Galman (2) and Nick Pitch, having been 2‐1 down
to goals from Brady’s Russell Rich and Malcolm Hershman.
Marshside moved off the bottom as they took their first points of the season with Fara Moghim
(2), guest Paul Herszaft (3) and Ed Saleh giving them a 6‐1 win over Ashlodge CPC.
Second‐half goals from Danny Goldman, Laurence Swerner and Mark Rose gave London Maccabi Lions a 3‐0
win over Hendon Harriers.
