Maccabi Masters review: October 16

All the major fixtures, including a 9-0 triumph for London Lions

Chigwell Athletic continued their 100 per cent start to the season with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Scrabble in the Maccabi Masters League Division One.

The defending champions climbed top of the league on goal difference courtesy of an Adam Stolerman hat-trick and another from Adam Barton.

In Division Two, St John’s Wood Tigers continued their solid start to the season with a 4 -1 defeat of Brady Maccabi B. Richard Weisfeld scoring his first ever goal, Ashley Marks and a brace from Gary Myers sealed the points. Mark Wagman replied for Brady.

Glenthorne also recorded their third win of the season, beating Temple Fortune 3-1 with Robert Botkai netting for Fortune.
