Two more goals from Lee Cash helped North London Raiders extended their lead at the top of Maccabi Masters League Division One with a 4-2 win over Brady Maccabi A.
Wayne Davidson and Dave Eden added to Cash's brace to give Raiders a 4-0 cushion by the interval, and despite Brady pulling two goals back in the second half through Scott Ansher and Andy Miller, Raiders ran out winners.
Chigwell Athletic returned to winning ways as they well and truly tamed Maccabi London Lions A. Adam Stolerman (4), Neil Gallagher (4), Richard Slater and Joel Berg scored in a 10-3 victory that moves them up to second place. Gideon Barnett (2) and Simon Davidson replied for the Lions.
In Division Two, Marshside and St John’s Wood Tigers played out a 2-2 draw, with Martin Leslie and Jason Rich netting for Marshside and John Perloff and a stunning strike from Ilan Cohen earning a point for Tigers.
Hendon Harriers celebrated their first win of the season as Brian Deal, Adam Brand and Ian Sumray gave them a 3-2 win over Brady B. Brady's goals came via a 25-yard free-kick from Malcolm Hershman and Trevor Tucker.
EDRS Stonegrove came out 5-3 winners over Glenthorne, having been 3-1 down to goals from Glenthorne’s Gary Adams (2) and Sid Shaw.
But two from Jason Sears on his EDRS debut, plus goals from Darren Coon, Steve Krieger and Barry Silkman ensured the win for the Sky Blues.
