London Maccabi Lions also progressed, with a 4-2 win over Hendon, courtesy of a hat-trick from Marc Morris and a goal from David Pollock.
Hendon’s responses came from Ashley Marks and Simon Black.
In Division 2, there were notable wins for both Glenthorne C and Marshside.
Glenthorne C recorded their first-ever win as two long-range efforts, from Jeff Gayer and Nick Pitch, gave them a 2-0 win over Clayhall.
Marshside came out 4-2 winners after a ding-dong battle with EDRS. Fara Moghim gave Marshside the lead, but an own goal restored parity before guest Paul Herszaft gave Hendon the lead again. Tony Platman brought the scores back to 2-2 with a far-post header after the interval, but further goals from Ed Saleh and David Hyman secured the win for
Temple Fortune B earned a credible 1-1 draw against Brady Maccabi B at The Hive.
The significance of Peter Kyte's scrambled equaliser 15 minutes from time, which cancelled out Gary Rose's opener, is that Fortune are now unbeaten in six games - a new record for this particular side.
Fortune boss David Goldberg said: "It was a good team performance and we deserved to get something out of the game for sure.
"I thought Graham Meyer was exceptional, but others played very well too.
"I'm delighted we have remained unbeaten this year, especially because we don't have a large squad and we've lost a few players to injury."
