Maccabi Masters review: January 8

A late double from Lee Cash helped North London Raiders come from a goal down to beat Scrabble.

Steven Moss had put Scrabble ahead with a tidy lob, but NLR rallied with three goals in the last 15 minutes. Alex Bourne sealed the comeback to ensure NLR maintained their perfect record and their table-topping position

Maccabi London Lions A moved into second spot in Division One of the Maccabi Masters League after coming out on top in an entertaining goal-fest with Brady Maccabi A.

Goals from Michael Abraham (3), Hadley Silver, James Temple and a penalty from David Kyte earned Lions a thrilling 6-5 win. Scott Warren (2), Mark Wagman, Kevin Lotzof and Gavin Sherman replied for Brady.

A second-half goal from Russell Rich was all that separated EDRS Stonegrove from Brady B.
