Four goals from Kevin Lotzoff boosted North London Raiders' title hopes as they demolished Scrabble 11–0 at The Hive.

Tony Plaistow chipped in with a hat-trick as NLR kicked off the new year with a clear signal of their intentions.

Further strikes from Wayne Davidson (2), Paul Katz and Gary Cohen helped L'Orange open a three points lead, with a game in hand.

At the same venue on the adjacent pitch, Waldaf Town surprised Southgate Harmen by winning 3–2.
