With just a single fixture remaining in this season’s Maccabi Masters League Division 1, the outcome is still undecided, as favourites North London Raiders missed out on the chance to secure the title as they went down 3-1 to their main rivals, Waldaf Town.

James Kaye put Waldaf ahead in the first half, and they extended their lead after the break through Hezi Yechiel's free-kick plus another strike from Jeremy Leigh.

Ashley Davidson fired a late consolation for NLR, but Waldaf took the point to leave NLR still needing a point from their final league game against Brady A to be crowned champions. Defeat for NLR in that game would result in a playoff against Waldaf to decide the destiny of this season's main trophy.

In the top-flight’s other match, Scrabble finished off their league season with a 3-2 win over Southgate Harmen.
Charlie Bernstein (2) and Jeremy Teacher scored for Scrabble, with Andrew Binstock and Alex Bourne replied for Harmen.
