Brady B put up a dogged resistance to deny table-topping Glenthorne United A their seventh straight win in a rare goalless draw, but Glenthorne remain in pole position, despite dropping their first point of the season.

St John’s Wood Tigers romped to a 7-0 win over Hendon Harriers, with goals from Ashley Davidson (3), Grant Morgan (2), Jonny Mansoor and Simon Barr.

And in the Peter Morrison Cup, the Masters representative team held Hendon C to a 1-1 draw in normal time thanks to a goal from Marc Cutler, but finally succumbed to the MSFL outfit in the ensuing penalty shoot-out, but only after no fewer than 27 penalties had been taken.
