London Maccabi Lions B crashed out of the London Sunday FA Cup at the third round stage after they were hammered 5-1 by Lord Stanley. Sam Rosenthal claimed a consolation.

After a number of late dropouts, which led to several ‘C’ team players being drafted in, the Lions were left having to use manager Gavin Stollar, their sole player on the bench, as a second-half substitute after Raanan Firmin went off injured.

Hat-tricks from Jake Masteran and Eddie Lewin, along with one from Paul Franklin helped Division Four high-flyers Real Life thump AC Cricklewood 7-3 in the first round of the JC Cyril Anekstein Cup.

Catford & Bromley Maccabi needed penalties to beat minnows Blizzard Storm. The teams were locked at 3-3 after 120 minutes. Joel Isaacs (2) and Craig Edwards netted for the Cats. Joe Stollerman (2) was among the scorers for Blizzard. The Cats won the shootout 4-2 with Matty Burchell, Adam Lewis, Isaacs and Edwards converting from the spot.
