Ray Tammam blasted his Manchester Maccabi stay-away stars after his side suffered a brutal beating against title favourites Knight Riders at Woodbank Park.
Several first-team regulars decided to watch the afternoon's Premiership football, leaving Maccabi with just nine players including three 13-year-old boys.
Chasing 230 to win in a rain-affected match, Maccabi made just 37-7 in reply and Tammam hit out at those who turned their backs on their team-mates to catch a glimpse of Manchester United's and Manchester City's thumping victories.
"Knight Riders showed why they have already clinched promotion with an excellent performance," said Tammam.
"But I was disappointed with the regular players from our squad that chose to watch the Premiership match between Manchester United and Arsenal instead of playing.

"Whilst I could have just conceded the game, I felt it right to ensure that the players who did support their team were able to get a game of cricket.
"We will try our best to finish the season on a high with a win in our final game on September 11."
South Manchester suffered an agonising last-gasp defeat against Olympic after going down to a one wicket off the final ball of the game.
Once again, it was Akiva Lieberman who stole the show, smashing 81 to help South reach 188-6 off their 40 overs.
But a rain delay meant Olympic were set a target of 160 from 34 overs and despite David Glick taking 3-44, South were unable to hold out.
Needing three runs from the final over, Olympic lost a wicket to a run-out, but they managed to scramble a single from the final ball to steal the victory.
Neil Myeroff claimed his 100th wicket for his fifth different team last weekend. Having achieved the landmark representing Carmel College, Old Carmelis, Mowbray and Belmont, Myeroff notched up his latest century for Belmont & Edgware against Haryom in the Middlesex Sunday League Division Two.
The three-time Maccabian finished with figures of 4-20 and has now taken 1,200 wickets overall.
