Losing a star is no worry for Nathan

I bumped into Brady Maccabi manager Joel Nathan in the gym the other day and he was quick to shrug off the departure of leading striker Reiss Mogilner.

Mogilner has featured at the top of the scoring charts for the past few seasons and his move to Rowley Lane stablemates Maccabi London Lions is a major coup for Sam Marchant’s men.

It’s the equivalent of Liverpool losing Mohammed Salah, Manchester City losing Kevin De Bruyne, Spurs losing Harry Kane or Manchester United losing, er, I suppose, David De Gea.

But the Brady boss was giving little away when I asked about a possible replacement. He replied: “Don’t you worry about that!”

My money would be Brady making a move for Bayern Mincha hot-shot and Golden Boot winner Adam Ellis, who would take to life in the Premier Division like a duck to water.
