London Lions suffered a cup hangover in midweek when they were beaten after a disappointing performance under the lights at Rowley Lane.

Fresh from the Anagram Trophy semi-final win at the weekend, Lions were not able to hit the same heights, but were ultimately undone by a disputed winner against Buntingford Town.

The visitors, who beat Lions earlier in the month in the reverse fixture, made the better of a quiet start to the game when Lions ‘keeper Reuben Rabstein was forced into making a super save when left one-on-one after a poor clearance from the Lions defence.
