London Maccabi Vale Under 17s were beaten by their counterparts from Winchmore Hill by seven wickets.

LMV chose to bat first and right from the start were put under pressure by a very accurate bowling attack well supported in the field. Despite the best efforts of the more experienced players only Ben Lederman (23n.o.) and Mark Spanjar (16) managed to get into double figures.

In reply, it was soon obvious that the Hill's batsmen were a class apart, despite the best efforts of the bowling attack of Lederman, Morris, Cohen, Sherrard, Henry, Nyman & Hirst.

An excellent run out from Lederman together with a couple of wickets for him, only slowed down the obvious as the Hill ran out easy winners, winning with five overs to spare.
