London Maccabi Vale 2nd XI suffered a heavy defeat against SKLP at a blustery Rowley Lane.

Having lost the toss in this Middlesex Sunday League Division Two contest, LMV spent the afternoon chasing leather. A couple of close shouts early in the innings, that did not their way, may have changed things. However, a combination of bowling down the wrong line, poor ground fielding and a couple of dropped chances meant SKLP amassed 325 from their 40 overs.

Michael Ziff maintained a good line and length throughout the innings in which Jonathan Cantor (2-33) Jonathan Rubeck and Andy Landsberg were the wicket-takers.

In reply, eight an over was always going to be a challenge and LMV fell well short. Only three batsmen reached double figures.
