London Maccabi Vale 2nd breezed into the semi-finals of the Maccabi National Knockout Cup after defeating Chigwell by nine wickets.

Chigwell won the toss and decided to bat in beautiful sunny conditions at Rowley Lane. Simon Renshaw continued his excellent form with an early wicket, which was soon followed up at the other end as Jonathan ‘The Vet’ Lederman held onto an excellent catch in the slips off Adam Morris's bowling (1-20 from six overs).

Andrew Greenwall Cohen took over from Morris and produced another brilliant display of miserly bowling, take 1-9 from his eight overs.

At the other end Jonathan Freedman was unable to continue his wicket taking form (0-19 from 4 overs) and Benjamin Lederman came on and took 2-47, conceding runs when the field was up trying to get wickets.
