Scott Lipsky's excellent run at the Australian Open ended in heartbreak as he and partner Jie Zheng were eliminated at the semi-finals stage.
Having knocked out fifth seeds A Medina Garrigues (SPA) / B Soares (BRZ) at the last eight hurdle, Lipsky and Zheng bowed out in straight sets against Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic, going down 6-3, 6-1.
