Spartan South Midlands League Division One
Langford 5 London Lions 2
Tony Gold, manager of London Lions, believes that the 5-2 scoreline flatter Langford after his troops suffered their third defeat on the spin.

Gold said: "The result certainly did not reflect the performance with Lions the better footballing side over the 90 minutes.

"However, inexperience from the younger members of the side, and four individual mistakes for four of the five Langford goals, meant Lions left Henlow with nothing to show for their efforts."

Ben Ellis and Max Kyte notched for Lions but the two goals were nothing more then mere consolation.
