Lion cubs turn on the style at WFL Festival

Drawn in a tough group, including Borehamwood Youth FC, Harvesters FC, Omonia Youth, Croxley Green FC and Whetstone Wanderers, the Lions  battled hard all day and their football drew praise from opposition fans and officials

The team finished the competition unbeaten, conceding only a single goal.

Lions manager Josh Pater said: “The boys played as a team and stuck to their football. Finishing as winners is the perfect reward for their effort and dedication and we are all proud of how far they have come this season.

“We look forward to the boys progressing further in the club over the coming years.”
