South Manchester Sports Club warmed-up for the Peter Morrison semi-final with a convincing 3-2 victory over Old rivals Miam Miam in the League Cup.

Missing nine players through injury and holidays, SMSC made the much better start and should have been two up within the first five minutes, but found the Miam keeper in inspired form.

The breakthrough came after 20 minutes when a superb build-up which started with the keeper and included 15 passes ended with a tap-in for Toby Levy.
