L'Equipe and Jewdinese remain unbeaten following a well-contested 1-1 draw.

L'Equipe were dealt a blow before kick-off when top-scorer Richard Fogelman, who had hit five goals on the opening weekend of the season, failed a fitness test. He was one of several players missing for the visitors, as well as Steven Black, so managers Josh Lewis and Dan Cordell were forced to play a few people out of their usual positions, including captain Mark Singer in goal.

The hosts were on the back foot in the first half, but defended superbly, with Singer pulling off a couple of great saves to keep us in the game and the back four making some strong challenges. It was a frustrating half for Jewdinese who felt they had more than enough chances to put the game to bed as early on.
