Fifteen minutes later, it was 2-0 to Leeds after Adam Gilman put through Nick Vale who fired home from close range.
The Scholes keeper was having a good game and kept the scoreline down with some fine saves from the Maccabi forwards, with the first half ending 2-0 to Leeds.
The second half began the same as the first half with Leeds dominating in all areas. Goals from Richard Black and Adam Gilman made it 4-0 to Leeds with the game appearing to be over with over half an hour remaining.
However, two defensive errors from Maccabi allowed Scholes to come back into the game with two goals in fairly quick succession.
Leeds Maccabi then stepped up a gear with Seligman, Black and Adam Gilman all scoring a second goal for themselves plus a fully deserved goal from man-of-the-match, Oshri Amar to seal the win.
