The Yorkhiremen face old foes HPR in the Harold Feldman Cup with both teams just one win away from reaching Oldham's Boundary Park.
But Leeds boss Daniel Kristall has begun the mind games by insisting the hosts are favourites.
He said: "All the pressure is on them as they want to win things as they keep on saying.
"I've heard they have been resting some key players so they should be fresh.
"Us, on the other hand, have been playing right through and are jaded.
"Given that, and the fact that they are the only side to have stopped us winning this season, makes them favourites to win."
