MAL picked up their 15th win of the 2010 season with a five-wicket win away to Old Parkonians in Ilford.

Parkonians won the toss and chose to bat, with the pitch looking pretty well-grassed. The opening batsmen struggled to get the ball away with Mark Landau and Charlie Sherrard bowling tight opening spells. The first boundary off the bat did not come until the 11th over of the innings as Shaheed looked to strike across the line in desperation. The first wicket came in Sherrard's seventh over, Grant Traub taking the catch at square leg, with Shaheed departing for 18.

Landau's seven overs went for 18, with Sherrard taking 1-6 from his spell. Michael Klinger and Traub replaced the opening bowlers and Klinger picked up the second wicket with the score on 50, Max Sherrard holding on to a fine high catch, as Vikram tried to up the scoring rate.

The in-form Avi Gelley replaced Klinger, and his introduction saw the wickets start to tumble, with one falling in each of his first three overs. His first fell to a fantastically well-judged catch in the deep by Klinger, the second a good ball found the outer half of the bat and was caught at point by Dan Caplan, and the third bowled the batsman. Traub then got his just rewards, having Berlin held at short cover by Gav Lebens.
